Technology

Technology plays an important role in education today.
Blended Learning (Technology + Human Component) is becoming common in school facilities (especially secondary). But elementary and middle school teachers are utilizing technology in their classrooms and lessons more frequently than in the past.

Ipads, mini iPads, tablets, Ipods, cell phones, smart boards, laptops, etc. are becoming commonplace teaching tools in today's classrooms. This is a good thing since students of today are so naturally attuned to technology. Technology is a norm in their private and social lives...it would make since for it to be woven into their "school" life. And because so many jobs in the 21st century workforce require people to be cognizant and savvy of technology, it makes good sense for schools to be preparing or at least exposing students to the utilization of technology.
