Daily Oral Language ~ Edit, Revise, Punctuation, Spelling, Grammar Work

(Be Consistent, Use Daily)

Having a Daily Oral Language time is a great way for students to practice punctuation, capitalization, spelling, grammar and editing & revising of writing/language.
My students spent approximately 10 minutes a day on this activity. It was a great daily practice and warm up for writing. I would write 4 sentences on the whiteboard with mistakes throughout, students would correct and record the sentences in a notebook daily. We would check/correct the sentences on the board as a class each day.
Teacher Materials: Whiteboard, colored whiteboard markers, eraser.
Student Materials: Notebook, pencil, and colored pencils.
